  • The incumbent makes planned Sales Presentation to Specifiers, Developers’ Contractors, and Stockist as a result of prospecting activities to maximize the sale of the company’s product range
  • The job holder is responsible to carry out the selling strategy within his assigned segments to ensure the most effective operation of the field sales activities.
  • To provides to the Specification Manager every week a monthly itinerary for the forthcoming week’s activities and daily sales call report.
  • The incumbent is required to submit a monthly report to the Specification Manager, together with a forecast of sales expectations for his assigned sales territories.
  • To prepares and gather competitors market intelligence to track competitors’ activities (e.g., products, prices, promotional activity, marketing, and distributors’ policies) and to alert the Specification Manager of significant changes, making appropriate recommendations regarding opportunities.
  • Increases market share and profitable sales through gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements and knowing the future buying trends and up-to-date market sentiments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, Science or related building industry qualification.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years working experience in specification role, in the building materials industry with a proven track record.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin or other languages would be an advantage.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Experience:

  • Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
