Position: Facilities Technician

Salary: RM 2600 – RM 3200 (Depending on experience)

Job Responsibilities
- Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment including chillers, aircompressor, main switch board and firefighting equipment. Reviews preventative maintenancetasks for effectiveness and frequency and recommends any continuous improvement changesor Lean practices for implementation to management.
- Plans and coordinates resources and materials for any planned and unplanned repairs of theEquipment and ensures all documentation for planned and unplanned Equipment maintenanceis completed properly.
- Can be available to respond to maintenance calls off shift if assistance is needed and must beavailable for overtime as needed.
- Monitor contractors performing the maintenance task in safe, effective and order manners.
- Maintaining shop tools, critical spare part, and keeping the workshop tidy.
- Adheres to, trains on, and enforces safety practices such as Lockout/Tagout and proper use ofPPE by him/herself.
- Contributes in a team effort by performing in accordance to all STERIS policies, GMP, Leanprinciples and other directives.
- Support LEAN Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Acts as a back-up in the absence of the Plant Engineer.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering.
- Fresh Diploma graduate are welcome.
- SKM level need 1-2 years’ experience
- Prefer to have AO Chargemen for a year or PW4 Certificate
- Prefer to have firefighting system monitoring experience for at least a year.
- Preferably Male who willing to learn.
